These are not necessarily all my favourite albums nor do they contain all my favourite songs or are by all my favourite bands and artists, just ones that are notable in their influence on my musical taste.
What can I say about The Wall that hasn't been said? A masterpiece of narrative and music, if you like concept albums and storylines in your music and somehow haven't listened to The Wall fix that now!
Brutal cowboy western hardcore and thrash metal.
Like the only Gorillaz album I like in it's entirety, beautifully desolate and brimming with life at the same time.
My absolute favourite Against Me! album, a good blend of different moods but all sound great with good energy and vibes.
My first metal album I listened to, my favourite of Mastodon's discography.
I get really nostaligic for this album, always thinking back to listening to music on the radio when I was playing Team Fortress 2 in like 2010, despite the album coming out in 2020, just has the vibe of relatively old pop-music idk.
